We adhere to behavior modification and training techniques that are ethical, backed by the most up-to-date science, emphasize mutual understanding, fear free learning, and relationship building. We will never perform or recommend techniques or equipment that use force, fear or pain.
Some behaviors may pose safety concerns and while we will do our best to provide you with management strategies and plans that prioritize safety, we are not liable for any injury or damage that may occur due to your pet's behavior or while you are working with your pet. If you have safety concerns, please reach out to us to discuss.
We understand that life happens and sometimes you may need to cancel a session or consultation. We will happily provide a full refund for appointments who reach out via email, phone, or text 48 hours prior to their scheduled session. Unfortunately we cannot provide refunds for sessions or consultations cancelled with less than 48 hours notice. However, we are happy to reschedule your appointment at no additional cost if you notify us at least 24 hours in advance.
If you need to reschedule a consultation or session, please reach out via email, phone, or text at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled consultation or session and we would be happy to accommodate at no additional cost.
Payment is due when services are booked.
Please fill out the questionnaire at least 48 hours prior to your scheduled session that way we have time to review and can come into the session with a good understanding of what your concerns are and where you would like to begin.
We cannot make any guarantees regarding your pet's behavior as they are living beings and behavior is influenced by a variety of factors. However, we do our best to provide you with plans that set you and your pet up for success and will happily work with you to figure out how best to help your pet. For more information on this and what to look for in a trainer, you can view the American Veterinary Society of Animal Behavior's How to Choose a Trainer Position Statment.
Physical and mental health are intrinsically linked and we all learn best when we are feeling physically well. While a recent vet visit is not required for our services, if we believe there may be a medical concern that could be contributing to behavior concerns we will recommend that you see your vet for further consultation. We will happily work with your vet and provide detailed reports of our sessions for their records as well.
At this time we do not offer group classes, however if you have a friend, family member, or neighbor with a dog/cat and you all would like to train together, we can happily accommodate this. Please reach out to us via email, phone, or text to arrange this.
We proudly provide in person services for the Naples and Marco Island areas of Southwest Florida, but also offer virtual options for those living anywhere!
